The largest Central European conference for language service providers and translation professionals returns to Prague after five years. Tickets for the conference to be held on October 14 – 16 and for the conference party in the Baroque Refectory can be booked on the conference website.

The Institute of Translation Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University invites its graduates to a workshop held to commemorate the 60th anniversary of its existence. It will take place on 30 November 2023 at Spork Palace in Hybernská 3, Prague 1.

ACTA elected a new board for 2022 – 2024 at is general meeting on 31 May 2022. The board members are Radka Vegrichtova (President), Vaclav Balacek (Vice-President), Michal Spevacek (Vice-President), Milan Havlín (Treasurer).

The study covers market trends, expectations, and concerns of the language industry in Europe based on the survey held earlier this year. More than 1300 independent language professionals, translation companies, training institutions, language departments and language service buyers participated in the survey.
